Discovering the truth about ourselves is a lifetime’s work, but it’s worth the effort

Jason Semar, MS, LPC
Therapist/Owner

I'm not here to bullshit you and sell you that ONE WEIRD TRICK that will make life's messes evaporate, because those don’t exist.

Real therapy can be uncomfortable and intense. I’ll sit with you in that intensity and we’ll explore your collection of beliefs about life, relationships, and yourself. I can help you decide which beliefs are empowering you and fueling your success, and which ones are weighing you down like a pocketful of rocks keeping your ass stuck in the mud. I can’t do all of that for you, so you’ll have to come prepared to work, but I’ll hold you accountable while accepting you unconditionally.

My passion is working with folks struggling with their sexual functioning or identity and destigmatizing conversations around sexuality. I also love helping people who are on the path to overcome anxiety, depression, or difficult life transitions. These can be uncomfortable topics, so I strive to create an open, relaxed environment where we can both be ourselves with plenty of humor and no shame or shade.

You were born with the courage to break free from those familiar but unhelpful patterns. Somewhere along the way someone convinced you otherwise. I’ve helped many folks change that narrative, embrace their power, and choose their own happiness. I’d love to do that with you.
